Ella Ackley and Pat Hastings traveled to Orlando, Florida recently to compete in the 2018 UANA Pan American Masters Championships. While there, they set a total of five state records. Hastings broke two W80-84 records formerly held by Charlotte Sanddal, in the 200m breast and the 200m I.M. Ackley broke three W75-79 records formerly held by Hastings, in the 50m free, 200m free and 200m back. Unofficially, a dozen Montana LMSC long course records were set or broken this weekend at the May Classic in Bozeman: In the W70-74 age group, Sue Harkin (Bozeman Masters) lowered her marks in the 200m breaststroke and the 200m individual medley and broke Jeanne Ensign’s records in the 800m freestyle and 1500m freestyle and Barb Jackson’s record in the 50m breaststroke. Northwest Zone 1-mile Open Water Championship Sawtooth Masters is hosting the 2018 Broadview Harbor NW Zone 1-mile Open Water Championship on Sat., June 2nd in Caldwell, ID.
