Congratulations to the swimmers who competed in the April Flowers Meet on April 9, 2022 in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho! There were 28 new MT State Records with 22 by BSMT swimmers and 6 by one member not attached to a club. Swimmers Unite at the Kalispell Swim Meet

The Flatwater Lake Open Water Swim Club (FLOWS) had a nice turnout at the super fun dual-sanctioned meet on January 15th in Kalispell, MT. About a dozen masters swimmers from Hamilton to Whitefish competed.  This allowed the FLOWS to have two relays in each of the relay events! Way to start 2022 out strong!

April is Adult Learn-to-Swim Month

April is Adult-Learn-to-Swim Month, a national campaign to raise awareness to the problem of adult drowning and help people find quality swim lessons near them. For the third year in a row, the Bozeman Masters Swim Club, in conjunction with the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation, is offering swimming lessons for adults in the Bozeman area with little or no swimming skills. A flurry of Montana records set by Albershardt and McNamara at Coeur D’Alene meet

Several members of the Big Sky Montana Masters and one member of the Missoula Masters traveled to Coeur D’Alene, ID this weekend to compete in the Kroc Masters February Flurry. Wendy McNamara lowered three of her Montana records in the 60-64 age group at the meet and a new name in our record books, Louise Albershardt, broke four Montana records in the 55-59 age group.
