One mile swimmers swim one lap two mile swimmers swim two laps. The lake temperature averages in the high 60’s in mid-September. \nEVENTS: USMS Sprint Distance Open Water Championship One Mile\, One Mile Wetsuit\, One Mile No-Wetsuit\, One Mile Julie Montiel Fun Swim\, Two Mile Wetsuit\, Two Mile No-Wetsuit. If you swim the Sprint Distance you may swim one of the other events for no additional charge.
