We obviously want this to be a successful meet\, not only for the swimmers but for the budget (KCAC is an expensive pool to rent!). \nThe event date is the day before entries are due for LCM nationals\, which makes this a great opportunity for swimmers to get times if they want to enter the meet in Mission Viejo.

We encourage you to take advantage of the Chinooks’ hospitality with our empty nesters. A fun evening social event with music and food is planned at the 1912 Center on Saturday evening.

The lake temperature averages in the high 60’s in mid-September. \nEVENTS: USMS Sprint Distance Open Water Championship One Mile\, One Mile Wetsuit\, One Mile No-Wetsuit\, One Mile Julie Montiel Fun Swim\, Two Mile Wetsuit\, Two Mile No-Wetsuit. If you swim the Sprint Distance you may swim one of the other events for no additional charge.
