Several swimmers from Big Sky Montana Masters traveled to St. George, UT last month to compete in the Huntsman World Senior Games. Elayne Hartter and Anne Hossner of the Bozeman Masters Swim Club have entered the Montana LMSC record books with their performances at the 2019 Fred Schwendeman Orthodontics May Classic, held at the Bozeman Swim Center last month. Elayne set new marks in the 100m free and 200m free for women 60-64. Anne broke records in the 400m free and 1,500m free for women 40-44. The U.S. Masters Swimming 2019 Spring Nationals in Mesa, Arizona wrapped up earlier today. There were some great performances by the 12 swimmers representing the Montana LMSC at this meet. The meet host is responsible for documenting any FINA Masters World Records but will have no knowledge of USMS Records. However they are usually very helpful especially, if done during the meet.
